Tips and reference material for stringers.

These will not make you a complete stringer, but use this starting technique and these two knots, together with a good toolset, and you'll be able to satisfy 95% of the string jobs out there.

A good toolset:

• a fixed clamp stringing machine, with either a crank lockout pull mechanism, or a continuous electronic head
• a starting clamp
• good nips to cut and trim strings
• an awl to do some basic grommets adjustment, and square away your weaved strings at the very end
