Managing inventory

While you do have to create items in your catalog, the management of inventory levels is optional.

You may or may not want to track inventory for a given material. As an example, you may want to track inventory of your strings. This is convenient because you'll be able to tell your customers what strings you have in stock.

On the other hand you may not want to track lead tape very closely, as this is tedious, and maybe you just charge a nominal fee for lead tape.

Ultimately, it's all up to you, and you'll be able to decide item by item whether you track inventory or not.
